Unlike Formula Vee, Formula Super Vee attracted many "name" manufacturers.   However, the Formula Vee specialists such as Kaimann also tried their hands at Super Vee design and construction leading to a rich and varied range of cars. Manufacturers of Super Vee chassis included:

- GR-?? - 1980 - Built by Jim Griffith. The first one was built and raced in the early 1980's in the VW/Bosch Pro FSV series.
- GR-06 - 1986
- GR-93 - 1990 - The car was later re-designed as a proto type to be run in the F3 series that was speculated to replace Pro FSV in 1990 but never materialized. In the late 80's, the design of the chassis was changed again and a few more cars were built. The last car was manufactured in the early 90's.
Both Griffiths have won many races over the years and are a extreme blast to drive although each is completely different in suspension design and act totally independent of each other on the track.
