INT - ST. VINCENT'S HOSPITAL - BIRMINGHAM, AL - NIGHT
FADE IN
The searing flourecent lights burn the eyes of the newborn baby boy. He tries to open them but the angry light hurts too much. Josh starts to cry.
The year is 1974. Josh is born.
EXT - JOSH'S DIRT DRIVEWAY - CLAY, AL - DAY
A lone GI Joe named Duke makes his way through the tall grass, trying to reach the large mud lake. The enemy is on his tail as he chops the tall grass with his Kung Fu hand. The enemy is firing at him as he bursts through the clearing and sees the lake.
We pull back to see a giant vehicle pulling up in the distance. Its monstrous tires empty each of the small lakes as they crash ever closer. Duke looks up and trys to escape.
MOM
I told you not to play in the mud Josh!
Now go wash up and get ready for supper.
JOSH
(reluctantly)
Oook.
He grows up and lives in Clay, AL making miniature movie sets with his GI JoesŪ and LEGOsŪ, and acts out scenes that he memorized from Star Wars with his friends.
EXT - JUNGLE VILLAGE OF SAN MATIAS, BOLIVIA - DAY

In 1984 he moves with his parents, who are missionaries, to Bolivia, South America. Living in the jungle towns and larger cities of Bolivia, he has many interesting experiences and learns about life outside of the comforts of the U.S. He lives there for over six years until he finally moves back to Birmingham in 1990.
EXT - TARMACK - US NAVAL TRAINING CENTER, SAN DIEGO - DAY
The sun beats down on the group of recruits, training on the tarmack. The company commander yells at them...
In 1992 Josh joins the Navy and moves to many different locations including: Memphis, TN; San Jose, CA; and the islands of Guam in the Pacific, and Bahrain in the Persian Gulf. He learns more about Asian and Middle eastern cultures and starts writing a few short stories.
INT - GARAGE - BIRMINGHAM

Josh and his friends (including William Brownell), form and play in a few bands including "The Courderoy Buddahs", "The Quakers", and a few years later he started playing and touring around the Southeast with his bands: "Glimpse" and "Needleye".
INT - SEEDY APARTMENT COMPUTER ROOM - NIGHT
Josh types away into the night. A clock reads 3:35am. He continues typing.
Josh decides to pursue the craft of screenwriting and film making after attending the Sidewalk Film Festival in 2003 and meeting many cool independent directors and screenwriters.
After 2 years, in March 2004, Josh finally marries Carrie Abbott, whom he met online and finally at a Train concert in 2000. They both share an interest in music, movies and entertainment which they hope to make into a career together.
In 2003 and 2004 he completes his first few short screenplays "Loop" and "Mercury's Feather" and continues to work on other features including "Making Mia", a feature length film exploring the life of someone that becomes involved in a religious cult. Also an as of yet, untitled "Forrest Gump" style biography of Josh's dad's life.
He now heads up the newly formed Suction Horse Productions film and entertainment group and plans on going to the Full Sail Media college in Orlando, Florida next year with his wife to study Film Direction and Production.
