This silk painting is based on Proverbs 8, in which Wisdom, present throughout the works of God's creation, says, "...then I was beside him, like a master worker, and I was daily his delight, rejoicing before him always, rejoicing in his inhabited world and delighting in the human race." (Vs. 30-31, NRSV)
