This is the second of three pieces made for the Chapel at Andover Newton Theological School in 2001. The first is "Responding to the Call" and the third is "Terrifying Joy." They reflect upon the journey through theological education, drawing on traditional themes of the Church year.These two panels hang on either side of the chancel, representing the hard questions, doubts, and sometimes broken relationships that happen in the second year of seminary. They represent the winter and Lent. The panels are 18" by 96".
