Jacob Adams was born sometime between 1740 and 1760 and died
sometime between 1820 and 1830. He lived in Smith County, Tennessee.

William Adams was buried in Wilson County, Tennessee, in 1831.
His wife's name was Biddy. See Item 6 below for additional information.
Green Berry Adams was born in 1812 in Wilson County, Tennessee,
and died in 1887 in Wilson County, Tennessee. His wife's name was
Elizabeth Griffin. See Item 5 below for additional information.
Andrew Jackson Adams was born in 1858 in Wilson County, Tennessee,
and was buried in 1939 in Union County, Kentucky. He married Elanor Ann
Collins in 1893 in Union County, Kentucky. Photo

At 19 years of age A. J. Adams (in later years known as
Uncle Bob) traveled from Lebanon, Tennessee, to Union County, Kentucky, in
company of John Caldwell (brother of Monroe Caldwell) (Monroe Caldwell was brother-in-law of A. J.).
They traveled a toll road extending from Nashville, Tennessee, into
Kentucky running between Hopkinsville and Nortonville.
The above accounts were given me by Mrs. W. E. Wsright
(aunt Bessie) about her father and mother, my grandparents. Robert H. Sigler (signed)

Item 4
Andrew Jackson Adams was born on 9-30-1858 in Wilson
County, Tennessee. He married
Eleanor Ann Collins on 1-19-1893 in Union County, Kentucky. Both Andrew and
Eleanor are buried in Old Bethel Cemetery in Union County, Kentucky. Andrew’s
religion was Baptist, his politics was Democrat, and his occupation was teamster
and coal miner. His parents were
Green Berry Adams and Elizabeth Griffin. All
four of his children were born in Union County, Kentucky. His children were Sarah Elizabeth (11-27-1893 to 5-30-1979),
Ollie Agnes (my grandmother) (5-14-1896 to 6-27-1970), Collie Andrew (twin of
Ollie) (5-14-1896 to 10-14-1896), and another daughter who died at birth
(9-20-1898). (Information from my

Green Berry Adams was born in 1812 in Wilson County,
Tennessee. He married Matilda R.
Jennings on 10-17-1835 in Wilson County, Tennessee. He married Elizabeth
Griffin. He also married Mrs.
Carolyn Hays. The
children of Green Berry Adams and Elizabeth Griffin were Matilda (ca 1836),
Elizabeth (ca 1836), William (ca 1837), John (ca 1838), America (ca 1840), Mary
W. (ca 1846), Frances (ca 1842), Tennessee (ca 1849), and Arfamily ? (ca 1851).
The children of Green Berry Adams and Carolyn Hays were Barbara (ca
1852), Andrew (9-30-1858), Forrest, and Samuel Reese.
Green Berry’s father could possibly have been William Adams of Wilson
County, Tennessee. Green Berry died
in 1887 in Wilson County, Tennessee. Carolyn
Hays, Forrest and Samuel are named in a will (from will book A, 1878-1884,
Wilson County, Tennessee). (Information

I also have a copy of a marriage bond for Green B. Adams
and Matilda R. Jennings dated October 17, 1835, in Wilson County, Tennessee.
The marriage bond is signed by G. B. Adams and John Reese.
It should be noted that one of his sons has the middle name Reese.
I also have Carolyn Hays listed as Mrs. Carolyn Hays.
Since one of her children has the middle name Reese, that could have been
her maiden name.
Item 6
William Adams lived in Wilson County, Tennessee.
He married Biddy. William died in 1831 in Wilson County, Tennessee.
His father was Jacob Adams of Smith County, Tennessee.
The children of William and Biddy were Leroy, Jacob, James, Ueletha,
Charlotte, Eliza, and Green Berry. William
James Adams was listed as a grandson of William Adams and living in the house of
Green Berry and Elizabeth Adams. (Information

The will of William Adams is on page 273, Wills and Inventories
1830-1832, in Wilson County, Tennessee.

Jacob Adams lived in Smith County, Tennessee.
Jacob was born sometime between 1740 and 1760 and died sometime between

James Collins was born in 1755 and was buried in 1823 in Shelby
County, Kentucky. His wife's name was Nancy Herndon.
James W. Collins, a physician, was born in 1805 and was buried in
1867 in Union County, Kentucky. His wife's name was Elanor Ann Pittman.
Luther Calvin Collins was born in 1834 and was buried in 1866 in
Union County, Kentucky. He married Sarah Elizabeth Dodge in 1856 in Union
County, Kentucky.
Eleanor Ann Collins was born in 1861 and was buried in 1932 in
Union County, Kentucky. She married Andrew Jackson Adams in 1893 in Union
