PalmSpring Watch April 2005

OUR NEXT COMMUNITY MEETING WILL BE -
Thursday evening, April 21st 7:30pm at Saint Luke Methodist Church on Shamrock. Please mark your calendar and plan to be present !!!!

We will be discussing Crime Stats for our Community as well as the national 'night out' in August & welcoming our new streets to the watch area. We will also explore the possibility of setting up a yahoo group for the Crime watch. Please send an email to Email:    PalmSpring Crime Watch@aol.com if you want to participate in the yahoo group to enhance communication via email.

Please make every effort to attend. we need your involvement.

Thanks to all you good neighbors that helped put together the festival in the partk (a big hand to Virginia Brien!), the artists & musicians & to all that attended! It was a success beyond our expectations. We will do it again next year!

The secret to improving a neighborhood is involvement! The bonus is that it's fun & you meet the greatest folks!

If you see student who should be in school in our neighborhood, please call 911 and have an officer check them out. If you tell them you do not want to see the officer, one will not stop by and no one will know you called to report them.

NOTE:
Over the past six months, crime has dropped in our neighborhood. Although we need to be mindful of everything that happensin our neighborhood. We only had 4 break and Enter. Our neighborhood has been moved from that of a threatened neighborhood to the status of a stable neighborhood. This certainly suggest that we are a community which helps our police do their jobs. Lets keep up the good work.
