Rule II

Our team was developed to provide a platform on which we can perform to our utmost skill level, wherever that may be, unhindered by the senselessness of disrespect. If you feel the need to disrespect people, do it elsewhere, and suffer the consequences of that situation. Anyone who should think that they are better than this rule will not be bargained with. There will never be the chance of your Captain or Co-Captain committing such ignorant acts, and therefore we expect to be the examples everyone else follows. We are the leaders, so if you choose not to follow us, you are naturally no longer a part of our team, in any sense. We encourage constructive actions, including what we decide is constructive criticizm of each member, and do not look down upon any personal leadership skills one may use to enable the success of the team goals. This means that you would still be following our guidance, yet have the ability to employ your own leadership skills. Hopefully you can see the obvious difference between disrespectful examples and constructive leadership.

We support free speech and expression within the rules, so if you are not disrespecting someone, there is no real reason to expect you not to swear. However, try not to make a complete fool of yourself. That's just some personal advice.

Spawn killing and taking advantage of any unrealistic glitch are two of the lowest forms of disrespect, to the point at which doing so is disrespecting our team more than the opposition. This will never be tolerated. If you have a question about what glitches classify as realistic, ask, but if we catch any of our teammates lying down at the edge of two misaligned polygons, you're out. This counts even if you aren't shooting, sight is as much of an asset. If you are not lying down, the glitches don't work, this is permissable.

In the past, whenever a team member spawn killed, even if I barely met the guy, I shot him once in the head for every time he was doing it. Sometimes, I found myself murdered by a team that wasn't fun to play on anyway. Sometimes, I had a renegade teammate after me while I was still picking off the opposition. And yet, there were many more times when doing this made the person quit, as should happen. Most of the spawn killers said I was unsportsmenlike and such. Well, I don't mind if they think that way, but if they are going to ruin my skill-building, entertaining gametime, which I paid money for to play a game of hit the gopher on the head, I'd just as soon send them over to Chuck-E-Cheezes with a few quarters and be done with the children. I didn't know about the glitches for a month or two, but they are certainly there. Hopefully, your visits to Team Compete, as well as to our own message board, have enlightened you enough to where you can avoid being shot in many cases, as well as discover cheaters to kill them. The majority of real glitches I've found have a reverse effect, essentially making the person using a glitch create an advantage for you. There more where you have the upper hand when they use glitches, if you learn how. However, there are still some that are nearly impossible to overcome.

Because we are respectful, we are respectable. This is a team goal, if you can't already tell. There are many like us, forming clans, who have simply listened to the way we interact with other people. It may have been in a normal game, or it may have been when we accidentally stumbled upon opposing clan recruitment, but they almost always say things like "See, that's how clans should act." or "That is the kind of attitude we need." And all it took was a "good luck" and a "have fun" or sometimes a "have a nice day". You'd be surprised how much respect this gets you anywhere you go away from the game as well, and the fact that it works like a charm here is no surprise to me.
