Mistress Sindokht Bayat

Mistress Sindokht is a persona created for the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism). She is of Persian origin and travels and plays with Tribe Zareefat of the Kingdom of Meridies. She resides in the Shire of Sol Haven.

Her main interests are the reconstruction of SCA period Middle Eastern dance, particularly Persian court dance of the 16th century and the costumes of the Islamic lands during the SCA period (aproximately 600 - 1600 CE).

She is the author of many articles within the SCA on these topics including a Complete Anachronist publication.
