We try to provide practice tapes as well as transcription
files of the major works we are preparing. It will be necessary for
our members to download and install the NoteWorthy Composer ©.
Please link to their website:
They provide the free programs Player and Plug-in, but these
cannot modify a file. If you register Composer (one time fee of $40.00),
you will be able to save changes you make. The program plays through
your computer's MIDI interface while highlighting the notes currently being
played. Choristers using a NoteWorthy file for training can change
their part to another instrument, lower the volume of other parts, or separate
their part to one of a set of stereo computer speakers. For a more
complete set of instructions, click here
NoteWorthy recently told its customers
about a free upgrade. If you can't read some of these files, either
upgrade from their Help menu or delete and reinstall.
If you have questions or problems using NoteWorthy or would like to help
transcribe the music we are working on, give me a call at (601)957-5151 or
(601)573-2315 or email me.
If you choose the zip package, unzip it to Program Files ->NoteWorthy
Composer ->chorus
