My goal is to produce a correct, square hunting terrier with excellent
temperament and genetic health. For our hunting conditions a 12" bitch and
a 13" (or smaller) dog is the most useful. Taller, or heavier boned
terriers have great difficulty fulfilling their destiny by entering the earth
to their quarry.
Several people have also been pivotal in the development of my kennel.
Foremost of all is Yvonne Moore. Without Yvonne and Dwain taking me to the hunt
field, I would have been content to raise pet terriers. I have now learned that
there are plenty of pet terriers, but too few terriers that can hunt as well as
lay beside you on the couch when the hunt is over. Most recently I have added the influence
of Pengelli Bullet through his grandson,CH Brillwood Tanto Tempo (Jody). Jody's
mother, Windy Hill Fandango, has also come to live at Panther Creek.
