| Welcome
to our 4 Bedroom Home in Winter Park, Colorado!
We only need three
words to describe our fabulous mountain lodge getaway…
LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION!
You’ve just found the perfect place to escape to in Winter
Park. Aside from the beauty of the mountains and the unbelievable
skiing, the town of Winter Park centers around a fun shopping/eatery
area called Cooper’s Creek Square. Our property is literally
across the street from Cooper's Creek which means you're only steps
away from the best restaurants and local entertainment in town!
After your day of skiing and a delicious
meal in the town square, simply walk out onto our large deck behind
the house and find a 8 person hot tub overlooking aspens, tall pines
trees and even a peaceful stream called Vasquez Creek less than
20 feet away.

Skier’s Haven
As noted above, the ski bus route is directly in
front of the town's square, which is across the street from the
house. An easy walk which makes it convenient for each skier in
your party to hit the slopes or to return to the warm home at their
convenience, versus waiting for the group to coordinate. Over the
winter months, these buses run every half an hour. Cross country
ski trails are also enjoyed here in Winter Park.
Non-Skier’s Haven
For those of you that don’t ski, you couldn’t
ask for a better location to stay while visiting Winter Park. Just
open the front door and walk across the street to shop in downtown
Winter Park. Choose from a number of fabulous restaurants or take
in a movie at the town’s tiny theatre only a half a mile away.
Walking and biking is very popular in Winter Park and convenient
paths run through the town as well. A sledding hill is across the
street from the town’s square in a fun park which is popular
during the summer months as well. Horseback riding, biking and hiking
trails are popular activities for visitors and there’s even
a free ice skating rink in Cooper’s Creek Square during the
winter. Skate rentals are available at Christy Sports, located next
door to the rink. Finally, if you just want to relax, we’ve
got a beautiful deck in the back of the house with the hot tub overlooking
the creek or just snuggle up to our fireplace in a big leather chair
and enjoy a good book.
Both Skiers and Non-Skiers
Alike
This house is roomy and comfortable, decorated with
the ambiance of a beautiful mountain lodge complete with log furniture
throughout the house, big leather sofa in front of the fireplace
and touches of antiques everywhere. Every room has a theme, from
wagon wheels in the dining room to a fun black bear bedroom upstairs.
The kitchen has been updated in December, 2004 with new appliances
and cobble stone flooring from New England’s farmhouses. It’s
completely stocked with all of the necessary kitchen supplies. All
you’ll need to do is bring a sack of groceries before hibernating
for your stay.
If you prefer to go out, step outside the front
door and take a short walk across the street to find restaurants
for everyone to enjoy. Italian, Mexican, Chinese & BBQ! At the
corner, you’ll find a McDonald’s and across the main
street from Cooper’s Creek Square, you’ll find a fabulous
Sushi restaurant and even a Subway sandwich shop. Again, steps away
from your lodge! The shops in Cooper’s Creek Square range
from ski clothing to jewelry to children’s toys and clothing.
They are all small and locally owned, making it a friendly place
to shop.
