GREENHOUSE
I started my greenhouse on June 16, 2002. I wanted to have fresh tomatoes by Thanksgiving and also to have tomatoes Christmas. The greenhouse was cosntructed with 1/2 in sch. 40 PVC pipe. I installed a Buck Stove for heat and modified an old attic fan for cooling. The shutters are motor controled and I built a computerized control system to feed the plants. The greenhouse is 15ft. by 30ft. It has a gravel floor and I used bags of pine bark as a growing media. Below are a few pictures during construction.
