(Crawford- Pigeon Mountain Wild life management area, just northwest of La Fayette Ga)
I-75 North to exit 320 (route 136 West, Resaca/La Fayette).
Turn Left on 136 West.
Follow 136 West to La Fayette. (Warning, there are 3 turns that you must take to stay on 136 West,, when you come to an intersection that points you left to Conn. 136 and right for 136, go right.)
When you reach La Fayette at the intersection of 136 West and 193 (traffic light and well marked), go straight through the light, you are now on 193 (E. Villanow St.).
Go thru 2 stoplights; turn Left at the 3rd stoplight to stay on 193 (S. Main St. and 193 are the same)
Go to the 2nd traffic light and turn Right on 193/West Main St.
Stay on Route 193 for 2.7 miles until you get to Chamberlain Road. Look for Uncle Jed’s Petro gas station/store on the your right hand side of the road.
On Chamberlain Rd. turn Left and go 3.3 miles.
You will see a sign on the Right for Crockford-Pigeon Mountain. Turn Right on this road.
The Information/Ranger Station is about .5 miles on your left hand side.
Follow this dirt road up the mountain.
