The upper deck slowly comes to life.

 

I took the opportunity of dry fitting the upper walls to take some unique pics that later wouldn’t be possible.

 

 

And the secret ingredient! 94 strands of fiber optics from 4 ultra bright LED’s to create that IA flashy light effect.

Aaaaak. Almost finished, preparing to apply the outer hull paint-job, and the lightsheet stop working.

 

Went through the exercise of isolating the short. This time I was careful to apply clear nail polish to the exposed edges. Lightsheet man recommends this as an insulator.

 

Be careful using lightsheet. Their driver modules generate 100’s of volts!

 

Borg meets the Millennium Falcon. I took advantage of the symbiosis and filled it up with D cells to power the J2 externally. The J2 still has room for an internal 9 volt battery, but the life with all the goodies packed in is limited…
