July 1, 2004 - Tomorrow the movers are coming to pack up all of our junk. The only things we're taking with us are our clothes and few necessities. For me it's several books I'm currently reading and my copy of the Firefly series on DVD. We bought a new HP laptop so we'll have internet access in the hotel, plus we can watch DVD's on it.

Tomorrow is also my last day at work. I've been treated to lunch three times this week so far. I should relocate more often.

We're heading out of El Segundo on Tuesday, as soon as the movers are finished loading our stuff. The plan is to stop by Billy n' Terri's to see them and our Goddaughters one more time. Maybe we'll get a free lunch out of it! ;) Just kidding. We want to hit Phoenix that night. After that El Paso, then San Antonio, then Houston, then New Orleans, and finally Mississippi on Sunday.

7/1/04 - Happy birthday, Angie!  Sorry I called ya so late! 

Last update for a long, long time here.  The movers are coming tomorrow to pack everything.  And that's it.  Tuesday, we're outta here.  So naturally, we won't be able to update until we get our brand spankin' shiny new laptop!  Wahoo!  That will be at least Sunday, but we won't be at our hotel until late that night, at which point we'll probably be absolutely bushed.  So maybe, just maybe, we'll update on the 12th.  If'n yer lucky. 

Please, everyone, pray for me while I complete the heartbreaking task of driving away from my goddaughters, who I love more than I ever could have imagined loving someone else's children.  Also, please pray for us while we're driving the thousands of miles.
