Text Box: It goes without saying that investing isn't for everybody.  That's just like saying med school, engineering, ballet, aviation, professional football, etc. isn't for everybody.  But that isn't to say that there aren't many people out there with the aptitude to have great success with FOREX.

However...here are a few guidelines one should consider when dealing in FOREX.
FOREX is not for those who do not wish to absorb the market as an integral part of their lifestyle.  It may not even be for those who look to get short term fortunes...but I can't prove that right now given the path I'm currently on.
FOREX is not for naysayers or those who have an aversion to difficulty.  If it's just "too unpredictable," just keep reminding me of this fact but please, don't bother investing therein.  Naysayers, much like the spectators in the arena, are meant for the sidelines.  They, hopefully, can find other means of passive income...or maybe just be fine with the prospect of the 20 year retirement plan and an old-folks home in Florida or North Carolina.
FOREX is not for those who want others to manage their accounts for them.  Go accumulate your wealth elsewhere, then come back to a reputable FCM company and put 50,000 on the table for a fully managed account.  They'll manage your account, guarantee 10-15% monthly return (less applicable fees, of course), and congratulate you with a handshake and a smile because although you didn't pursue FOREX, you obviously know what it takes to make money in general.
FOREX is not for those who simply aren't aggressive and/or motivated to grow beyond the bounds of their own personal development plan.  Much like many other market (including this market we call life), it is much better to lead than to follow the pack.  If you under 30, and are quite comfortable with your position in life, FOREX is not for you.
FOREX is not for those who have an aversion to reading.  There's a reason this is the first thing they teach you as a child.
FOREX is not for the inflexible of mind.  If you can only focus on one thing at a time and have no intention of changing that, the currency market is probably not the place for you, either.  If you don't think you can contribute to a group's knowledge base, you're most likely right.  It's definitely not for those tired of school, either.
FOREX is not for those who are already fully aware of all their limits.
