"My Sun Bug is a Standard Beetle. I acquired the car from it's third owner in November of 1998. The third owner was the brother of the second owner. The first owner lived in Ironwood, MI. The car was stored in a garage for about half of it's lifetime. The body was still solid when I bought it. The car has 65K miles on it and I have an odometer statement from the second owner that says the car had 42K on it when he bought it from a car dealer. The car is pretty much stock and I plan to keep it original as much as possible. I have been unable to locate a gear shift knob for it though!"
