Lee based on two years of exhaustive research of original Whizzer factory resource material and numerous interviews with Don White, who served as production manager for the Whizzer Motor Company in the late 1940's and early 1950's. The book traces the origins and history of the Whizzer Sportsman Motorcycle, which was manufactured in Pontiac, Michigan beginning in 1949. The book includes 25 photos, 19 of which are in color.
