Auction Quest
Eclectic Electronics would like to introduce "Auction Quest". Auction Quest is an affordable program that allows you to submit that last minute bid while not at your computer. Auction Quest is completely automated. You can use the built-in browser to go straight to eBay with the "eBay" button on the toolbar. When you find an item that you want, hit the "Snipe-It" button and you can put in your maximum bid. That's all it takes. If you decide to keep Auction Quest, and pay for a full version, there is another add-on.
A feature called "Reserve Snipe" will allow you to put a second higher amount for your last minute bid. Suppose you find an item you want to pay $100 for, but you are willing to go as high as $125. You put your first bid in for $100. If you win the bid at $100 dollars then Auction Quest will monitor and see that your Reserve Snipe wasn't needed, however, if your original bid goes in with 30 seconds left and a few seconds later someone outbids you, Auction Quest will monitor this and put your Reserve Snipe of $125 in and potentially win the item. You won't even have to be at your computer at the time of bidding.
Auction Quest will also let you know when an auction is about to end before it needs to go online to monitor it. This way, if you have a dial-up connection, you can finish your business on the phone and allow the program to dial-up when it needs to monitor an auction and place a bid. However, if you are unable to finish your business, Auction Quest will monitor for a dial tone before it dials to keep from dialing while you are still using the phone.
Auction Quest also has it's own internal clock that will AUTOMATICALLY synchronize itself with eBay upon start-up and constantly monitor eBay to ensure it is synchronized to eBays time. Unlike most Auction software, Auction Quest doesn't need to reset your PC's clock because it has it's own internal clock that is constantly synchronized to eBay's clock for more accurate sniping. While Auction Quest is constantly monitoring eBays time, it will also monitor the items you are bidding on. At certain intervals, it will tell you what the high bid is, time left, and much more useful information. Auction Quest is incredibly easy to use.
