Being a preservice teacher, I am learning many techniques and methods that will help me build a successful and appealing classroom environment for both my students and myself.  I have learned that the more effort I put in planning a lesson, the easier it will be to conduct and teach it.  At the beginning of every school year, I plan to tell my students exactly what I expect from them in their behavior and academics.  I plan to motivate my students in every way I can think of in order for them to be successful.  When I teach my lessons, I would like to create a student centered classroom.  I want my students to learn new topics through discovery methods or maybe even through cooperative learning.  I believe that this type of teaching environment would be fun, rewarding, and motivating for my students.  I hope that my students will leave my classroom with positive feelings towards learning new subjects and ideas.
