"A man who has not found something he is willing to die for is not fit to live." Martin
Luther King Jr.
Hi Ya'll!
My name is Robert E. Hauptman and welcome to my homepage.
You can visit my alma mater,
North Carolina State University, which is in Raleigh, NC.
While at NC State, I majored in communication with a concentration
in public relations. I had been a member of
PRSSA- The Public Relations Student Society of America for two years. I was the
NC State PRSSA Web Site Coordinator for the NC State PRSSA home page. I spent a semester
interning at a local country music radio station, 94.7 WQDR.
I am originally from
Washingtonville, NY and
graduated from
Washingtonville High School in 1989. I then went on to join the
U.S. Army,
where I served 4 years as a paratrooper at
Ft. Bragg, NC with the
XVIII Airborne Corps. While in the Army, I took part in the Persian Gulf War in 1991.
In 1993, I served as an instructor at the Northern Warfare Training Center in Ft. Greely,
Alaska. I taught Basic Military Mountaineering during both the winter and summer phases.
I now live in Denham Springs, LA and
own a party planning company called
5 Star Events. I moved
to Louisiana to be with Tammie, whom I married on May 8, 1999. I had met Tammie in Nashville,
Tennessee a little over seven years ago. We had our first child, Hannah Angelle, on April 9, 2001. To see a picture, go to
Hannah's Home Page. Our second child, Lillie Caroline, was born on July 28, 2003. Our third child, Audie Jules, was born on January 19, 2007.
I enjoy skiing, fishing
and going to the gym. I also like music A LOT! All kinds too. I might go
two-stepping at a country club one night and then go to a reggae club the next night. I'm probably going to
do a music page here soon, but it will probably be vast and have a lot of links, so it might take
a while to do some research. Please let my home page finish loading and
don't forget to sign the guest book.
