BARRY REEVES HOME PAGE - Barry Reeves, publisher of the "Reeves Registry" newsletter, has gone online with much of the information he has gleaned about the REEVES surname over a number of years. He has accumulated information on over 50,000 people with this surname or related to it, and at least some of his database is included in his site. In addition, he has listed a number of reference works on the REEVES surname and other interesting information. This site will undoubtedly grow with time, and is already a site of much value to the REEVES researcher. Barry has recently revamped his site, adding new capabilities, and it is well worth the time to visit it.

 

Brad Reeves Home Page - Brad is interested in George Washington Reeves, born in SC in 1831, and who lived in Granville County, NC.

 

Charles William Reeves Home Page - Charles is interested in Hance Henderson Reeves, b 1810-1815. He was in Franklin County, TENN in 1850.

 

Dagley Reeves Home Page - Dagley's family moved from Georgia to Texas in the mid-1840's. Dagley's site has an extensive family tree in diagrammatic form. He has also authored a work entitled: "The Unofficial, Unauthorized and Incomplete History of the Reeves Family." If you can find that you are directly related to Dagley, he will send you a copy of his most unusual and entertaining book free.

 

Fred Reeves Home Page - This page lets you view Frederick's family tree viewing the FTM online Internet Tree features.

 

Isaac N. Reeves Home Page - Isaac is searching for descendants of Willis Howard Reeves and Martha Cenia Wade, who may have resided in Cedar City, MO.

 

Keith David Reeves Home Page - Keith has placed his genealogy page at this site. He's done a lot of work on it, and it's worth visiting. He gives information on the REEVES surname, migration patterns, and coat of arms.

 

John F. Reeves Genealogy Page - This page was created by Jane Owens to share the biography and lineage of John F. Reeves, and to solicit correspondence from others interested in his line. John Reeves was b 1840, d 1888, and was married to Lydia Catherine Verts. John and Lydia were Jane Owens' g-grandparents.

 

Orville R. Reeves Home Page - Orville is researching three Reeves brothers who came to Canada from Scotland. One was named James, lived in Ontario, and married Delia Ouellet.

 

FTM Paul Reeves Home Page - This is a second genealogy home page for Paul Reeves. This home page is a more complete and detailed genealogy which contains an FTM-formatted book which gives the complete specifics on all known information related to Paul Reeves' lineage. The book is entitled: "Ancestors and Descendants of James Milton Reeves of Crawford County, Georgia." The page may be of particular interest to those who have descendants who they have traced to origins in middle Georgia.

 

Paul Reeves Family File - Paul has uploaded his entire family file, excluding living individuals, to the rootsweb.com site. Anyone who shares his lineage will find a wealth of detail, particularly in the most recent 4 to 5 generations. A clickable link does not work for this site, but it may be accessed by going to rootsweb.com, clicking on "World Connect Project," and entering the name "James Milton Reeves." Look for the page submitted by "paulreeves94," and you will enter the family tree at Paul's great-grandfather. You can scroll up or down in the tree as you desire.

 

Reeves World - This site gives extensive background information on the Reeves surname, and this alone is worth a visit to the site.

 

Terry Reeves Genealogy Page - This is a site added in June of 1998, which is based in the UK, and has all the earmarks of a fine resource site for those interested in tracing links back to the UK. Terry Reeves has done a remarkable job of organizing his site in a useful and interesting way, adding photos and documents in his "Rogues Gallery," giving a list of useful reference sites in the UK, and also giving a very complete background of the origin of the Reeve name and derivatives. High ly recommended for those who wish a good tour of a UK-based Reeves home page, which is, after all, where most of our ancestors came from.

 

Todd Reeves Allied Families Home Page - This site gives 16 pages of ancestors of Wendell Reeves and allied families. Call up the index after arriving at this site, and scroll throuth the names of interest to you.

 

The Reeves/Moore Home Page - This unusual page states that is a location for all those with the Reeves surname to keep in touch and help one another. It displays a coat of arms different from the one used by Robert Ryves b 1490. It also has a "historiography" which gives an explanation of the origin of the Reeves name, and also lists several early Reeves men who achieved distinction in one way or another.

 

Thomas Reeves Home Page - Thomas is interested in the ancestry and descendants of Reuben Godfrey Reeves, born 1879. This family currently lives in NJ and CONN.

 

Wendell Reeves Home Page - A short genealogy page. Wendell's ancestors were Hiram and Sarah Angeline Reeves, who migrated from Georgia to Texas in 1900.
