Biography of Bible Originator: G.G. Reeves was a farmer who was born January 27, 1865 in Crawford County, GA., and died in Ben Hill County, GA on Nov 29, 1932. He was a son of James Milton Reeves of Crawford County, GA. See the "Paul Reeves Home Page" for more information.

Ethan Wayne Reeves, Sr. Family Bible :

Biography of Originator of Bible: Ethan Wayne Reeves, Sr of Crawford County, Ga was born October 18, 1857, died July 12, 1924. He was the son of James Milton Reeves of Crawford County. He lived his entire life in Crawford County and had 11 children.

 

Current Owner of Bible: Unknown. The information above was obtained by John Daniel from a relative who saw the bible at one time and transcribed the information in it onto an envelope. The information obtained is believed to be genuine, however. Anyone interested in details from the transcription may contact me at reeves1@bellsouth.net

 

Brief Description of Information in Bible: The usual information about Ethan, his wife, his parents, his grandparents, and some of his children is included. Only seven of his children's names appear in the transcription.
