Problem: A Canon printer like the Multipass C3500 and others fail to initialize at startup while running windows XP.

Solution: Download MPStart.exe to the Canon Multipass program folder and run it once. You may also need to stop the original loading process, following these steps:

Click Start, and click Run. The Run window appears.

In the Open box, type msconfig and click OK. The System Configuration Utility appears.

Click the Startup tab, and then uncheck monitr32.exe.

Click OK.

When you are prompted to restart the system, click Yes. After the computer restarts, you may need to click accepting the modified msconfig.
