The GNUGK Gatekeeper Managing and Configuration Utility

GKeep is a GUI interface for the voIP (H323) GNUGK 2.x gatekeeper.

GKeep integrates all the gatekeeper managing and configuration tasks in a single interface. It runs the gatekeeper as a service, starts and stops it with a click, and connects to its status port without the need of typing or remembering commands. It also includes an installation utility which installs the gatekeeper on your system. Adding or deleting simple user/password pairs is also an intuitive task done by opening a dialog window. It comes with a default.ini file to speed up your configuration process.

GKeep runs on Windows 98/Me/2000/XP systems. The GKeep program and the GNUGK files (gnugk.exe, addpasswd.exe, gnugk.ini and CDR.log) must reside in the same directory. The GNUGK gatekeeper can be interfaced with a RADIUS server and/or with a mySQL database for authentication and accounting purposes. All these options are supported by GKeep and have been tested to work properly with the GNUGK 2.2beta. All commands are supported and configurable via the “commands.ini” file.

The actual MakeCall functionality is not yet implemented in the OpenH323 Gatekeeper (as of version 2.2beta). (You may Download GNUGK from here).
