LearnersThis lesson is anchored in seventh grade gifted science class.A basic understanding of genetics and heredity prior to the webquest would be helpful, especially in understanding some of the terminology. Glossaries are provided, but they may not be comprehensive. The concepts of chromosomes and mutations would be beneficial. Basic computer skills are also necessary. A familiarity with creating MS PowerPoint slides would be helpful, but not necessary. Allow for more time if the students are not familiar with PowerPoint. |
