• What areas do you think warrant further research into possible treatments or cures for these various genetic diseases?
• If you could, what questions would you like to ask a genetic researcher or genetic counselor in order to further your understanding of these diseases?
• Do you have any ideas that would make life easier for these patients?
• What types of research or therapy do you see as most promising for a cure for each disease?
• What are some advantages and disadvantages to mutations?
• What about cloning and genetic engineering?
• Everyone can agree we should cure diseases, but should we create "designer children," even if we have the capabilities?
• If we could change ourselves at the genetic level, how much should we change?  Are there any ethical limits?
