With thanks to the work of Alan Douglas for much of the data though I have added some SWAGs. When a VOM (often measuring capacitance also) was present, Hickok called them "Analyzers". Not all were manufactured by Hickok but all are based on the Hickok design. Hickok also manufactured badge-engineered testers for Western Electric and Hickoks were license-built by Starke in Canada. As far as I know all Hickoks were designed for 110-125vac (military ranges wer larger and often accomodated wide frequency ranges). Mistakes are mine. Notary Sojack.
* - Military model, cost unknown but A Lot.
The price for Hickok tube testers seems remarkably stable for all common models - $40-$75 for a unit in good working condition. Surprisingly, the miltary models do not command a noticable premium - not to say I have not seen silly prices asked but in the case of the TV-7D/U acquired some time ago (complete, working but without manuals), the seller asked $80 and I paid $75 because was the nicest I have seen.
Have noticed a trend for prices to be higher on the Internet - possibly because of shipping/handling and possibly because there are people who have not found a local source. Best deals are always found with cash in one hand and the handle available for the other.
