~ Sondance ~

Jesus is our creator and life giver.
As such, I would imagine, even as a man on Earth
The people close to Him could feel the dancing
inside of them when they walked with Him.
There was an energy surrounding Him
that produced peace and joy.
When I think of Jesus, I think of home.
Maybe not a home that I've actually lived in
but what I think of as home.
I'm aware of my shortcomings when I'm in
His presence but also of
His omnipotence to recreate me if I'm willing.

The Son Has Risen!!!

The voice was sharp and quick
As though a sword slashed through the air.
Taking away the darkness that had
Driven us to despair.
The words that were spoken
Went straight to the heart.
So fresh and so courageous
Giving a brand new start.
The night we've been in for so long
Is lifting from the skies.
At last we're able to see

The Son of God Arise!!!
