Greetings!

The Nebo ASP program and Department of Music are pleased to offer Dance as an ASP program.  Students in 3rd Grade ASP Dance will practice on Mondays from 3:00 to 5:00.  Students in 4^th Grade ASP Dance will practice on Tuesdays from 3:00 to 5:00.  5th Grade students in ASP Dance will practice on Wednesdays from 3:00 to 5:00 PM.    Dance will provide students with instruction and experience in body awareness, expressive movement, teamwork, and telling a story through dance in the production of a musical in conjunction with the Nebo Chorus.  Ms. Churchill and Mr. Michaud will lead this exciting program. 

Students interested in participating in the ASP Dance will need to meet the following requirements:

• Students must be an active member of the Nebo Fall 2006 Chorus
• Students must be registered for ASP and attend ASP on the days of Dance Practice
• Students must stay for the entire practice

Students will not be required to audition for ASP Dance.  However, they must remain active in Nebo Chorus and attend all Dance practices.  Ms. Churchill and Mr. Michaud reserve the right to remove students from ASP dance who miss more than 3 dance practices.

Because the Dance program is part of Nebo ASP, students must stay in ASP on the days they have Dance practice.  Parents must inform homeroom teachers that students need to go to ASP on the days of ASP Dance.  Parents must also follow Nebo ASP procedures and pick up students in the front lobby of Nebo.  ASP currently charges $6.00 per day.   Refer to Nebo ASP policies for further information on cost.

Students interested in ASP Dance must register for chorus.  Click here for a chorus registration form.  Be sure to indicate chorus and dance when filling out the form.  Please return the registration form by Monday, August 15th.
