A Mother's Story.

This photo was taken about two weeks before she was killed.

March 30, 1976 - April 16, 1995

Nan is still in the Truck at this time. The man in the white shirt is the coroner. I wonder did she know that she was about to die? Nan was going to have a baby girl in two months. I never got to meet my first grandchild.

The End

This says it all.
The end of a young woman's life and her unborn daughter.

Tara1's Last Goodbye

This is Tara (Nan's younger sister) saying good bye to Nan for the last time.

Prison

This is Tutwiler Prison for Women in Alabama. This is where the woman went that was drinking and driving. She received 10 years. She only spent 1 year in prison then went to Work Release for another 2 years. She has three daughters that were without their mother. There are many victims here.

She is now home to live her life like nothing has happened.
We are left with a void that can never be filled.

Teresa, Beth & Tara

Beth, Tara & Marjorie

Nan's death gave new life.
We wanted to do something good with the insurance money. So I had a tubule reversal and on June 5, 1998 Marjorie Nanette McCombs was born.

This is a photo of Beth, Tara and my baby daughter Marjorie.

Please, if you drink, don't drive.
