Here is a simple recipe that your children can make for their dads for Father's Day.

Dad's Delight

½ banana
1/4 cup fresh or frozen blackberries
1/4 cup apricots, with nectar
1/4 teaspoon cherry extract
½ cup vanilla nonfat frozen yogurt or ice cream
1 cup rainbow sherbet

Place all ingredients in a blender. Mix until smooth.

Here is a healthy and cool treat for the children. My daughter loves this. It is very simple.

Grapes On A Stick

Take grapes and stick with tooth picks and freeze for a couple of hours in the freezer. This is refreshing on those hot- dog days in South La.

Time Saving Recipes:  Marinara Sauce: 3 cloves of garlic minced, 2 cans of 28oz. whole tomatoes, 3/4 tsp. oregano, 1/2 tsp. chopped fresh parsley & basil. Saute garlic in non-stick skillet till tender. Stir in tomatoes and bring to a boil over medium heat. Add herbs. Simmer for 15 minutes. Serve over whole wheat angel pasta. Makes 3 cups or 2 servings. I like this because it is a basic sauce. Can add meat to it if you like. I  like to add shrimp. Prepare a salad, and garlic bread, and there you go, a quick and fast meal!
