The Presbyterian Church (USA) is considered one of the mainstream denominations along with others such as Catholic, Episcopal and Lutheran.

We have to start by looking at these three main areas:
MUSIC, PULPIT and PROGRAMS

       A growing interest in Contemporary Praise and Worship services in "High Church" denominations have evolved over the last ten years with the growth of Praise and Worship 

music.
       In 2003 the PC (USA) had the forethought to address this by publishing their own denominational music book entitled SING THE FAITH. Some of the

PC(USA) churches have embraced this music in an attempt to reach out to younger and for a broader congregation appeal.
