Your gift to the School of Church Music at Calhoun Conservatory goes to support churches, music directors and church musicians. Many churches cannot afford to pay musicians for travel and expenses where some have traveled 90 to over 100 miles to serve and meet the needs of church congregations. With your help, churches will no longer have to settle for electronic music machines or tapes to play the hymns during their worship services. We not only are striving to meet the needs of churches but also the needs of the musicians.

What is the School of Church Music Annual Fund?
The School of Church Music Annual Fund provides the Calhoun Conservatory with current-use cash that go to support church musicians and staffing use for immediate financial program needs. Annual giving provides the School of Church Music with the financial flexibility to respond to its most pressing priority. And that is helping churches find musicians and help to support church musicians.
Why should I make a gift?
• To demonstrate christian love and support for those who are serving. A major priority for the Calhoun Conservatory is to increase the christian participation rate. Your gift, no matter what size, will help us meet that objective.

• To help churches supplement their financial means to help a serving musician for their servicies. The School of Church Music needs to raise $50,000 each year just to help with travel cost. Sometimes to provide reliable vehicle support. Your gift, no matter the size, will help us provide that need.

• To make a difference. The cumulative effect of every gift is significant. Small congregations will benefit and the ministry of music can be continued for future generations! Your gift truly does make a difference.

• To enhance the spirit of love and caring. Your support of the School of Church Music Annual Fund does all of the above and more, greatly improving worship through music. This inturn enhances the value and shows love and support for those called into music ministry services.
How will my contribution be used?

Your gift will be automatically designated to the School of Church Music, unless you specify otherwise. Gifts to the school allow the Calhoun Conservatory to address the specific needs of its programs.

Our online giving form allows you to choose where you would like your gift to go, whether to the School of Church Music or to a student-wide program such as the music library, student ministries, financial aid, or musician missionaries.
