Meet Presh, a black and white tuxedo cat approximately 14yrs old and my best animal friend ever. I met Precious in 1991 when she came to live with us. It took a little while at first, for us to click. But we finally came to understand each other and she's been by my side ever since. I remember the first week I got her. I was cradling her in my arms like a baby, staring deep into her eyes, telling her that her former parents picked a good name for her because it suits her, she is Precious... when all of a sudden, she balled up her little fist and socked me right in the eye! Let me tell you, she packs a strong punch. I thought I was going to have a black eye. But after that, we learned to respect each other. Over the years, we've spent a lot of time together and have gotten to know each other pretty well.
Presh is a very cuddly cat. I am so thankful she's that way. You know, some cats don't really like to be hugged and squeezed. But she actually stands on her hind legs and begs me to pick her up sometimes. She is usually wherever I am, when I'm at home. If I sit down, she is there trying to snuggle up in my lap. She's always beside me or lying on me in some way, or at the very least she will reach out a paw and just rest it on me. (She's in my lap now, supervising the revisions of her web page as we speak.)
Presh was the perfect gift. She was given to me free, she was already spayed and declawed. She was used to staying indoors and she was already grown. She has been the perfect pet. She never gets into anything or tears anything up, she doesn't shed much, and she doesn't make messes or chew on my shoes or purse like some other cats I know. She's just a good little girl. She just follows me from room to room, talking to me and trying to snuggle. She sleeps with me too. She's really a wonderful cat.
And I must give her credit. She has been the best big sister to Xylo. She doesn't bother him at all. She just observes but never tries to harass or harm him. She's great!

Nicknames: Big Fat Black Cat (said very fast), Orca Presh (cause she looks like free Willy) Pretty Preshie Puddin', Little P, Oreo Cat, Cat Mat (when she's lying on the floor), Mack-Mack (that's what she says sometimes) and Bigga Fat Cat (sung in a very low voice to the tune of Beethoven's 5th)
Favorite Games: Wrestling with dad, chasing her tail, & "sock head" (I never liked it, but her dad said she did)
Favorite Food: Doritos®
Favorite Activities: Playing in the bathtub, snuggling with mom or dad, and watching her new brother Sugar Glider, Xylo.
