First off I would like to say MERRY CHRISTMAS to Hannio aka Prongs, this is my gift to her this year to show her how much she means to me as a friend! I thought she would like some place that showcased our writing
I met Prongs on the threads at Fiction Alley Park more specifically the Fire & Ice thread. One day she IM me and the rest they say is history...haha I've always wanted to say something cheesy like that. She became one of my best online friends and we talked almost every day it seemed (can't forget about playing Bejeweled together either). She then decided that she was going to convert me to a marauder fan which honestly I can say worked :D She gave me the nickname Moony and she took on the nickname Prongs.
Hannio: A new project Mousey..... you are so the Remus to my James you know that don't you
Me: i am? really how so?
Hannio: Well everyone says I'm like James, all eager and stuff and you're the brains behind the outfit, Remus to James.... you see?
Then one day the idea of writing our own collaborative fic came a long and Chronicles was born...the original title that we came up with is quite long and we don't use it any more just because the original idea behind it changed so much. It originally was planned to be a crossover of the Marauder Era with the current Harry Potter generation but we kinda dropped Harry and the gang (well until the children came along). Although we did actually get one chapter with them written but I don't know if anything will ever come of that side of the story. Chronicles is definitely considered AU (Alternate Universe) as our characters evolved before our eyes and there could have been some persuasion on my part not to let certain characters die like they do in cannon. I was teased a bit about how I had refused to let them die but I think that Hannio doesn't regret the decision at all to let them live. I think she loves these characters just as much as I do. One thing that's a bit different is the HUGE amount of OCs (original characters) Hannah gets credit for that she evidently loves big families so there tend to be a big amount of children from the Marauders. We wrote all of these stories over MSN messenger and then Hannah would transfer them into the stories that they are now. Of course alot of them aren't finished in there detailed form but that's why I'm also including the original conversations of the original fic so that you may see if there was anything left out, changed, and what hasn't been done yet.
