About Me

The most important elements of my work are incorporating line and geometry, and manipulating the sense of light with colors to the point of creating an optical sensation or illusion. In my recent work I started to experiment with a roller and spray technique on a Mylar surface to enhance these key elements as shown in the  “Vertigo Series” and my large scale installations.

The “Vertigo Series” are overlays of washes of color intended to bring out intense and pure color vibrancy in blurred images, thereby generating a physical sensation.

In all of my installations I play with the idea of our perception of space. I try to create a sense of vibration by using colors and subtle changes to create attraction and repellency. It excites me to work and to conceptualize the space, and to transform it beyond its limitations.

Even though they are two distinctly different bodies of work, they both play with spatial illusionism and physical sensation created by lines and colors.
