It's Not Just A Vacation Thing
Today, when I was driving, all of the sudden I got really, really happy. Almost crying happy, and yeah, it's being emotional due to the lil daughter. What occurred to me was that it's not just now, not just this year, that she's my daughter.
I had heard an ad on the radio about some concert in the park thing and thought that it might be a neat form of stimuli for the lil creature, but then thought, maybe not for a one year old, maybe in a few years. And it occurred to me, not that I didn't already know, but I'm having a great time right now. Well, having to be at work and only seeing Nina about 4 hrs a day (of her waking hrs) is lame, as I was used to seeing her 24/7.
Oh, and also for the record, I absolutely loved being with Alison 24/7 for those weeks too. I can't wait for this weekend, especially if my females aren't sick.
Hey, My Taco Bell Beef N' Tater Burrito Was Different
A few days ago, I got a 1/2 lb beef & potato burrito at Taco Bell* and it was pretty darn good. Today, I did the same, but this time it had sour cream and chives on it too. It was OK, but weirder. I asked Labman if his yesterday had SC&Ch and he said it did. Hmmph. I know better than to order anything special at TB during lunch rush, so I might want to get used to the odd toppings.
I also got a 1/2 lb Bean Burrito Especial (and it pains me to actually do the correct pronunciation to a Taco Bell employee) and was disappointed that it's just a bean burrito with more stuff inside. Heck, I can get two bean burritos for the price of that huge one. And yes, I do need to watch the calories. But I'm still only 184.5. When I get to 190, I'll start freaking out.
*Now that I'm a father, maybe I need to not use my nickname for Taco Bell, "Taco Cheesehole". It just isn't something I want my daughter to be saying.
