Almosty Weekend
Well, unexpectedness. When my sister, Kelley, emailed me and asked me about how to do websites, I told her about Postagulous.com. Sure, she could have found it using my profile at any number of places, pbase being the most popular, even more popular than Postagulous.com actually, but no one ever reads this anyway, right?

Well, it just so happens that yesterday, I mentioned that Kelley's handbag gift from China was given to Carol in the readjustment. See, Carol had only gotten one thing, and nothing for her kids, so we reshuffled and got a few things for Carol. One of those being, really, Teri's bag. Now, Teri gets Leeann's bag and Leeann gets my sister's bag. However, I think we can re-reshuffle and get my sister's bag back. That said, it's Leeann's birthday party tonight and I just called Alison and she hadn't gotten her anything yet.

My sister's birthday is tomorrow, she got a $20 gift certif at Amazon. I tried to order the soundtrack (used) that she had in her wish list and have it shipped to her house, but it wouldn't allow it. Hmm, I think I might have that in my yahoo addresses thing...I might order that used 95 cent soundtrack for her afterall.

Weekendy Projects y Happenings
I want to make a font of my handwriting using Fontastic.com. I've actually spent a little time jotting different words down on 3x5 cards to get my best examples of my lousy handwriting. Those, along with the printed template that I used to make sure I got everything, are in my front shirt pocket. I'll scan the cards and cut n' paste them into the template, rather than printing the template and putting the letters in it. I thought about finding old cards that Kelley had sent and making a font out of her handwriting for her birthday, but it's a little late for that. And as for a gift for Leeann of that, she prints in the font that all architects print in.

ETA (that means edited to add): Oh, and I'd be able to have my font for download and change my css so my webpage would appear in that font if a person had it.  Woot!

I want to use Jake Ludington's plans for making a bottle cap tripod. They have these now in Japan for $10, and they are much prettier than the ugly Road Warrior version I'll make. If only I had a Josta cap. Woot!

I also want to spend as much time with my little Neener as possible. That said, Alison and I have been offered free baby sitting from Tom et al on Saturday afternoon so we can go see a movie. I think it'll be Spiderman 2, maybe Bourne Supremacy though. Nah, it'll be Spiderman. What Tom and them don't know is that Nina will cry non-stop more than likely. After all, less than a month ago, she was taken away from the only mother she knew and given to us of all people. And following the pattern that we had with her, since we've been here for a week, isn't it time we took a plane somewhere and got a different hotel room? I mean, that's what she's seen of our life so far.
