Heck, What Did I Do Today?
I woke up. I had some coffee while I watched something. It wasn't a movie. Whatever it was, it wasn't very memorable, and that's all I can really say about it. Wait...wait...it was Ghost In The Shell, alleged classic anime. It turned out to be mediocre and clearly aimed at the teen nerdboy, as, just like Heavy Metal, a few female nipples are used to try to distract you from the boredom where the tension should be. Yawn.
And then, I took a nap. Actually, I went upstairs and read about who won the 9 hr long standing challenge for Head of Household on Big Brother. Then I took a nap.
Alison called and said that Nina and her would be coming by soon and that lil neener was about to cork off. So, I took a quick shower and vacated the bedroomy area for kiddie napping. Wait, maybe it was then that I read about Big Brother. Heck, I don't know.
Down with the Sickness
Today, I do feel stronger than I have since Tuesday. Probably due to the steroid shot yesterday. But my cold, which was content to force me to sleep constantly, which I'm kind of still doing, decided to give me flu like symptoms earlier today. I hate the fluey body aches.
After Neener's nap, we all went by and took pictures of Alison's mom's new house which is now sheetrocked and has shingles. Pics are at my pbase site. Then we took Nina to Guadalajara for her first authentic Mexican food. As with the Taco Bell, she loved the refried beans. She also is very fond of beef, but didn't care for my chili relleno, mainly because she doesn't like cheese. She didn't make a mess at all, despite the fact that we forgot Cheerios, a bib, a baby spoon, something for her to drink. Heck, if we'd forgotten any more, we'd have left her at home.
Well, I've been awake for six hours. It's about time I either napped or just went to bed. And it's too late for napping.
Tomorrowday
I called my parent's house and my sister (from Atlanta) answered. I asked when we were coming over tomorrow. Kelley said that dinner would be at 6:30 but we were welcome to come over earlier. I said we'd be there around 3, as Nina goes to sleep around seven. Though Alison did keep Nina up late.
Oh, Yeah, Lawn Standing
I almost forgot one of my favorite things today. Alison mowed the lawn and I was left Ninasitting. And sat we did. We sat on the driveway when Alison mowed the front yard. We sat on the patio when Alison mowed the back yard. Nina didn't complain. If she hinted that she wasn't totally satisfied with sitting, we'd get up and I'd show her the wind chimes, or the wysteria, or we'd play with one of those fluffy caterpillary-like weeds, or a stick. It was a good time had by all. And it was after this that we all went out for Mexican food.

How To Be Sick Badly
So, Tuesday, I'm sick as a dog at work and struggle through the day, coughing and hacking at people. Actually, I tried to stay in my office and not cough by drinking coffee and sucking on Hall's Vita-C Grapefruit flavored drops. I hated to open my last pack from China. Also, it tasted horrible with the coffee.
So, Tuesday after I got off work, I think that was the day when I went over to Alison's mom's house and tried to get the leaking tap that used to supply water to the washing machine to stop dripping. After that, I think I went home.
Big Brother Live Feed Transcripts
The only real safe time to read these at Survivor Sucks or BB5BBQ is between Tuesday and Thursday. But I had read them all weekend and knew that A was up. I knew A was gone too. And Tuesday caught me up, actually being able to see stuff, to what I had read up to.
Being Sick, Yeah, Back To That Topic
So, Wednesday, I sleep until noon. I did wake up to call in sick. I gave up on western medicine and started taking the Chinese cough suppressant that i got in Guangzhou (which works a lot better than dextromethorphan). I watched some of Saving Private Ryan (also bought in Guangzhou) and then in the afternoon had to help Alison move her mom's car from the old house to the TDY place. I don't know what TDY stands for, but it's like for a few months while her new house gets finished being built.
But that's not all, I also took pictures of Alison's mom's old house which can be seen at my pbase site while the Mr. Rooter guy fixed the leak in the garage and the new surprise, a busted pipe in the kitchen.
Now, before you think "Aaarhg!", it was just the U shaped trap under the sink, it wasn't spewing water or anything. But it had to be fixed, say, before the Walkthrough at 5:30. That was taken care of quickly and easily.
Thursday(Today)-ness
Sleep till noonish, wake up because Alison and her mom, now that the closing is over, are coming by the house. It was going to be us eating at Cracker Barrel, as both Al's mom and I are craving veggies since all this chaos is upping the fast food eating lately. But then it turned into Alison and I taking the Miata to the Camry so that we could take the Focus to the Ford dealer since it seems that the transmission is crapping out on us.
Yes, more random crap. The Focus is acting like it's low on fluid, but the dipstick indicates that it's not. Also, the ATF smells fine, so I don't know what it is, and Ford won't look at it before Monday since they are backed up in the transmission department. This is the first Ford I've ever owned, but I've never had a dealer say that they had so many of their crappy cars needing the transmission fixed that it would be at least three work days (they're open Saturday) until they could get to it. Man, I sure like Mazdas.
After that, I went to the doctor at 2:45 and Dr. Conway pumped me full of 'roids. I need to bust out the Bowflex...get HUGE! But, alas, I'm just tired tired tired. I will go in to work for a little while tomorrow. There are some things I need to do. I would have mailed out all that stuff on Tuesday if I had known that the crud was going to drag me down again. But now, I have not only the 'roids on my side, but also one of those new Trek-like 3-pill Z-packs. Z3? 3-pack? In any case, I should be right as rain by Monday.
Big Brother 5
Ahem: OMFG! LOL! Holly is Pwned! 7 to 1. Jase Zoolander needs a new "Cuddle Monster". Eew, just saying that makes me need to brush my teeth afterward. Bleh.

Why Huge Letters?
Well, it seems that the font I made at Fontifier is a little on the small size compared to, say, the standard Arial or Helvetica that you generally see here. In the post below, you can download postwood1.ttf, and feel free to do so. It's my handwriting, I paid $9 for it, I own the copyright, and I'm givin' it away. Woot!
The side effect of this is that to make the CSS code show my handwriting correctly, I had to bump up the size of the text in some areas. So, it's still readable in it's non-Postwood1-ified version, but with the font, it's more personable.
What's the font look like?
Remember those little doodles I used to post on my old blog, like that, but letters. I used a Sanford Uni-ball Gel Roller RT with 1 mm tip, wrote on standard 3x5 cards, and then scanned, cut, and pasted.
I highly recommend the Fontifier experience.
Sick Day
Well, that upper respiratory crud I got in China, and took a Z-pack two weeks ago for, I seem to have had a relapse. I missed work today and I'll miss it tomorrow. I'll definitely have to go to the doctor tomorrow. I slept until noon, which explains why I'm still up at this hour.
Font
Ok, that font I made, postwood1.ttf, can now be downloaded. I'll see if I can alter my template to have it the preferred font. Though, I'm not too crazy about the intraletter spacing next to T's and P's.
Last Day
Today was the last day to be inside Alison's Mom's old house. I was picked up by Alison so that I could drive her mother's Camry over to the TDY apartments she'll be living at for the next two months. Why was sick old me needed? Cause Alison's mom is in a wheelchair due to that pesky broken leg and bonus broken other foot. Pictures are up at my Pbase site.
New Dog Tricks
I prefer the old Blogger editing thing with the ugly HTML, which is what I'm using rather than the nice, neat wordprocessor type one.

New Pictures
I put up some new pictures at Pbase. They're in the New Picture folder. I think that's how I'll do stuff and then sort them into the Family, etc, folders later after they've aged some.

Almost Cut My Hair
I think I'm going to grow the Mas Grande Goatee again. I'm in one week old full beard mode right now. In fact, the hair on top of my head is about the length of my proto-beard, so I have that 1970s GI Joe look. While I grow out my goatee, I'm always thinking of cutting it off. Leads to lots of listening to that CSNY song.
Weekendy Weekend
I think we went over to Alison's mom's house and gave out presents on Friday night. Nina ended up staying awake until 8 p.m. for the third day in a row. Saturday, we went over to Al's mom's house to see Leeann packing. Then went home and waited for Tom et al to drop Leeann off at the airport. Tom and Teri babysat Neener while we went to see Bourne Supremacy (ROCKED!) even though we originally set out to see Spiderman 2 (SOLD OUT!). Neener threw a fit at them and refused to eat or nap. Once we were home, she was all smiles, eating, and napping. And then she stayed up until 9:30 playing with me. And then she woke up in the middle of the night.
Keeping kids up too late will make them wake up in the middle of the night.
Neener and us managed to be 3 for 3 at church. Cheerios are the quiet maker. But Alison had to skip out after only 10 minutes of class since la niƱa was freaking out in the nursery. Lunch was BK and then Tom and I took apart a giant Schwinn exercise thing that Alison's mom owns.
Today, the packers came to Al's mom's. Tomorrow, the movers. She also gets her keys to her temporary TDYesque apartment tomorrow.
I'm tired and want to go home. I'm not too fond of work. Bleh. My sister Kelley will be in town this weekend to see Nina, and Wednesday at lunch I'll eat with Dad. Hmm, maybe I'll invite Nina and Alison along too.
I think my Dad and sister are reading this now, which is odd as they have had zero interest in my websites before now. Maybe I should start writing about Playstation games (I am thinking of picking up the flawed racing game R: Racing Evolution for only $9 from EBGames, but I'm not sure when I'd play it. Heck, I still haven't finished Advance Wars II on the GBA which I continue to borrow though I'm not actually playing it.)

Woot!
Well, I made a font of my own handwriting at Fontifier. Some of the spacing is a little odd, like words that begin with T or I don't have great spacing up front, but for $9, eh.
I'll post it and change my CSS so that all of this can be displayed with it. It's called Postwood1.
Woot!
(Oh, and playing with my daughter some today rocked. As did seeing Bourne Supremacy. Too bad Franka Potente dies (like in the first reel, so I'm not ruining the movie for you...but Matt Damon wins!))

Almosty Weekend
Well, unexpectedness. When my sister, Kelley, emailed me and asked me about how to do websites, I told her about Postagulous.com. Sure, she could have found it using my profile at any number of places, pbase being the most popular, even more popular than Postagulous.com actually, but no one ever reads this anyway, right?
Well, it just so happens that yesterday, I mentioned that Kelley's handbag gift from China was given to Carol in the readjustment. See, Carol had only gotten one thing, and nothing for her kids, so we reshuffled and got a few things for Carol. One of those being, really, Teri's bag. Now, Teri gets Leeann's bag and Leeann gets my sister's bag. However, I think we can re-reshuffle and get my sister's bag back. That said, it's Leeann's birthday party tonight and I just called Alison and she hadn't gotten her anything yet.
My sister's birthday is tomorrow, she got a $20 gift certif at Amazon. I tried to order the soundtrack (used) that she had in her wish list and have it shipped to her house, but it wouldn't allow it. Hmm, I think I might have that in my yahoo addresses thing...I might order that used 95 cent soundtrack for her afterall.
Weekendy Projects y Happenings
I want to make a font of my handwriting using Fontastic.com. I've actually spent a little time jotting different words down on 3x5 cards to get my best examples of my lousy handwriting. Those, along with the printed template that I used to make sure I got everything, are in my front shirt pocket. I'll scan the cards and cut n' paste them into the template, rather than printing the template and putting the letters in it. I thought about finding old cards that Kelley had sent and making a font out of her handwriting for her birthday, but it's a little late for that. And as for a gift for Leeann of that, she prints in the font that all architects print in.
ETA (that means edited to add): Oh, and I'd be able to have my font for download and change my css so my webpage would appear in that font if a person had it. Woot!
I want to use Jake Ludington's plans for making a bottle cap tripod. They have these now in Japan for $10, and they are much prettier than the ugly Road Warrior version I'll make. If only I had a Josta cap. Woot!
I also want to spend as much time with my little Neener as possible. That said, Alison and I have been offered free baby sitting from Tom et al on Saturday afternoon so we can go see a movie. I think it'll be Spiderman 2, maybe Bourne Supremacy though. Nah, it'll be Spiderman. What Tom and them don't know is that Nina will cry non-stop more than likely. After all, less than a month ago, she was taken away from the only mother she knew and given to us of all people. And following the pattern that we had with her, since we've been here for a week, isn't it time we took a plane somewhere and got a different hotel room? I mean, that's what she's seen of our life so far.

Speaking of Watermelon
Ok, in Nanchang, I go into Wal-Mart an they have those little cannonball watermelons for one yuan. I pass up the deal as we're eating out constantly. Then, the other day, I'm in Target and I see they have them, but are only selling them cut into half. The half is $1.26.
1 Yuan = 12 cents = 1 watermelon
I could get 10.5 Chinese cannonball watermelon for the price of that one half. 25x more expensive? Sheesh. It makes those $5 Hard Rock Guangzhou T-shirts pale in comparison.
Neener Do
So, yesterday, the interesting Nina things, at least to me and Alison, was that after Alison read that Neener should be able to imitate things, Alison and Nina imitated each other. Alison's favorite from that morning, which she couldn't get Nina to do in front of me after I got home from work, was looking up and yelling "Aaaaaah!"
We went over to Alison's mom's house for a get together. I fed Nina "tablefood." I particularly took a very studied interest in it since one of Alison's sisters was saying the most accidentally insensitive and inappropriate stuff. Alison's other sister, who likes to mildly harp on me, when talking about what we could feed Nina had the following responses:
About feeding Nina eggs: "You can't do that. They're all protein."
About feeding Nina bread: "Man cannot live by bread alone."
This is the woman that after we gave Nina a full bottle fed her a French fry, which she promptly puked. This is the only known Nina puking so far.
My favorite harp, which I actually responded to rather than keeping quiet, was, when I was pushing a button that plays music on the walker thing they'd gotten for Nina: "Don't break it." Even Alison agreed that was a freaky thing to say. My response was "It's made for kids, I think me pushing the button over and over isn't going to break it."
The Louisiana Sister leaves today at noonish. The England sister leaves, I think, tomorrow. We need to get our gifts from China to her today. We actually have to evaluate what is what again, as Alison stole my sister's handbag to give to her Louisiana sister. And I'm telling you, I'm not giving away anymore of our fake jade chopsticks. (They aren't plastic or anything, they're dyed marble...I guess.)
Everyone's stressing because Al's mom is moving next Monday. And Alison is maybe a little more stressy today, since my parents are coming over tonight. I'm not sure if we're feeding them or not, but I think we're having lasagna that Teri made. I need to email dad and find out it they are eating all my food or not.
Loyal Readers?
Oh, and as for me talking medium bad about family. Eh, none of them really read this except Teri every once in a while. I don't think Alison has even read this since we've been back.

It's Not Just A Vacation Thing
Today, when I was driving, all of the sudden I got really, really happy. Almost crying happy, and yeah, it's being emotional due to the lil daughter. What occurred to me was that it's not just now, not just this year, that she's my daughter.
I had heard an ad on the radio about some concert in the park thing and thought that it might be a neat form of stimuli for the lil creature, but then thought, maybe not for a one year old, maybe in a few years. And it occurred to me, not that I didn't already know, but I'm having a great time right now. Well, having to be at work and only seeing Nina about 4 hrs a day (of her waking hrs) is lame, as I was used to seeing her 24/7.
Oh, and also for the record, I absolutely loved being with Alison 24/7 for those weeks too. I can't wait for this weekend, especially if my females aren't sick.
Hey, My Taco Bell Beef N' Tater Burrito Was Different
A few days ago, I got a 1/2 lb beef & potato burrito at Taco Bell* and it was pretty darn good. Today, I did the same, but this time it had sour cream and chives on it too. It was OK, but weirder. I asked Labman if his yesterday had SC&Ch and he said it did. Hmmph. I know better than to order anything special at TB during lunch rush, so I might want to get used to the odd toppings.
I also got a 1/2 lb Bean Burrito Especial (and it pains me to actually do the correct pronunciation to a Taco Bell employee) and was disappointed that it's just a bean burrito with more stuff inside. Heck, I can get two bean burritos for the price of that huge one. And yes, I do need to watch the calories. But I'm still only 184.5. When I get to 190, I'll start freaking out.
*Now that I'm a father, maybe I need to not use my nickname for Taco Bell, "Taco Cheesehole". It just isn't something I want my daughter to be saying.

Yeah, I Guess I'm Back
Yesterday was my first day back at work since we went to China to get Nina. I have tons of the work that I dislike the most piled up on me. But, it's work, it pays me money, so what's the big gripe.
I was informed, after about 3 minutes in the building, by my boss that in my absence my job description had been changed. All the lame stuff that I do everyday since no one else seems to be able to do it without screwing it up has been considered to be work that is below the grade that I am. So, that stuff will be put on one of the secretaries or TC and I'll transcend to, of all things, flow monitoring since that's the big environmental thing these days.
The good news is that it's a ton of work. Not so much immediate good news, but they are planning on bumping me up two grades and hiring a 13 to be below me. I've had a 13 that I supervised before, but he was not cut out for office work, so they transfermoted him to a position where he does very little paperwork and lots of supervising.
Neener Neener
Alison took Nina to the doctor twice yesterday. In the morning, blood was drawn and the imoxxicilin (obviously misspelled) prescription came about. Trying to force 5 ml of nast medicine into an infant twice a day is not a wonderful thing, and due to my experience doing similar stuff when working for the vet, I'm the bad guy around the house as far as dosing the kiddo goes. The second visit to the doctor was vaccinations. So, when I got home around 3ish, my bunny was fussy. Well, I'd rather have a fussy bunny than no bunny at all.
Nina is getting more on my schedule though due to her long day of crap. She was restless but didn't want to sleep, but, alas, with only two micro-naps during the day, she fell asleep at around six. And then woke up around nine and fell back asleep around ten. I think she actually slept in the bed with us for a few hours. I wouldn't know, I was out like a light. Or a log. I slept like a log. I was out like a light.
Mr & Mrs Zoolander, The Tribe Has Spoken
I finally almost caught up on the TV that I missed while in China. I watched about 5 hrs of Big Brother 5, which can be done in a little over two hours if recorded, and got to the up to last Thursday, I think. I have one hour left. I've watched the Reign of Jase Zoolander and his wife, Scott.
No, Jase and Scott are not gay. But they do wear four inch high headbands which match whatever clothes they are wearing. They are both colossally stupid, but think they are smart. I'm sure if one of them wins the money, they will open Jase's School For Disadvantaged Kids Who Don't Read So Well And Stuff.
I do agree with the dumping of Mike by the Tribe though. Not because he wore Bush Country T-shirts, though that's not the brightest thing to do with the Zoolander/Barfly crowd, but because he started playing the game too soon.
Oh, and they have surprised two of the contestants with the fact that they have the same father but didn't know it. And one person is actually played by twins swapping out, and if they can get to week five, both are allowed to be in the house.
I'm assuming the only really smart players are the ones we really haven't gotten to meet yet. Oh, besides the Bush guy, and the gay fellow. The gay dude is my favorite currently. He's no Zoolander, but more like Matthew Lillard in his calmer moments in SLC Punk. He's the only male who isn't a wannabe male model, well, besides the Cowboy of British Smiles who found out his daddy also fathered a mildly gothy gal. I liked her better with the deep blue/purple hair. Though the light green seems to be well done also. I'm just a sucker for a gal with blue hair.

I'm Back
And, wow, Blogger has changed. Well, I'm swamped with work here at work, but I'll point you at the pbase site were I have lots of pictures. The China photos are up. This is only a small amount of what I took. I took 760 megs of pictures and around four hours of footage. But, go to http://www.pbase.com/brockman

Alison writing a post
I'm writing with a snugli on. It's a little different. We visited the doctor today, and had Nina checked out. She's fine, but still has a bit of cough. The doctor seemed pleased that we knew a little Chinese to tell Nina not to cry. She slept through most of the visit and we are done know. She smells like Johnson's Baby Shampoo. We had a bath this morning for the doctor visit, in which she promptly pooped. I cleaned the tub and started over, then she pooped again. We are in a coffee shop with free internet, which is really nice. I got a glass of ice. ICE! Wheee! I haven't had ice in over a week. The guy behind the counter laughed at me when I clapped for ice.
We had Thai last night, and it was excellent, but the late evening really threw Nina's schedule off. She didn't go to sleep until 8:30. We played for too long and she had trouble going to sleep. We are going to start giving her more table food. I don't think she's getting enough stuff from the bottles. She's always hungry. She had eggs this morning and loved them. The only thing she hasn't liked that she's tried is kiwi fruit. She's ready for a nap now, and I think I'll let Mark use the computer. I really like China, but I'm very ready to come home. Just a couple more days and some more paperwork.

Pictures
The pictures are at http://www.pbase.com/brockman. Sorry to all of those who got my garbled message written from a fellow traveller's laptop. But, sheesh, his laptop sucks.
At An Internet Cafe In Nanchang
Well, this is the slowest machine I've sat at in years. Not only that, but I think I just paid for 10 hours of usage on it. The place is filling up with the hip young Chinese right now as the day is finally getting cranked up here in sleepy ol' Nanchang.
Nanchang is a lot like Alabama. Things move a little slow. When we were in Hong Kong, I realized that the southern stereotype of being fairly, not really slow, but metered in our presentation and demeanor, well, it just wasn't present in Hong Kong.
Nina Pei Xi
Well, Nina and Alison are the two best things that have ever happened to me in my life. Nina now is very strongly attached to both of us, but moreso to Alison. In order for Alison to take a shower, I have to challenge Nina with walking while I hold her hands, or maybe feed her.
She eats rice cereal mixed with formula. The formula has some strange name, it's made by Nestle and it's like Nestulaplast or something like that. Well, actually, nothing like that, but it's Nestlocord or something.
She takes three 210 ml bottles of that mixed with five little scoops of rice cereal a day. Maybe four. Maybe five is she wants it. Also, in the morning before I make up her formula proper, I'll fix a bowl of just rice cereal. She's also crazy about watermelon, which she can't have due to her diarrhea.
She doesn't have diarrhea anymore, but she has the glue butt. It's green/grey and like a mix of ectoplasm and glue. Very smelly too. Oy vey, ziplock bags are a wonderful piece of technology as far as getting rid of the horrible smell. That, and I bought an air freshener in the shape of a yellow rose that smells like lemons the other day in the department store that Alison hasn't been to yet.
Oh, and Alison is Going to Kill Me
I'm sick. Pretty darn sick. Nina came with a cold and a very strong attachment to her foster parents. She didn't want us and we were all she had. (note: Holy crap, the dudes playing counter strike here are freakin' brilliant. Har har har.) But that cold, I totally understand her crying. I feel really bad, not so much now in the internet cafe, but last night I was really horrible and same with the night before. I keep overdoing it during the day.
Hey, you know that stylized Chinese painting style. The horses painting at Ding How II is one of those. We went to the temple dedicated to that guy today. I think it was either 2000 or 500 years old. But it looked great. But the mosquitoes were eating a member of our group.
After that, we went to a very fancy restaurant. Actually, probably more fancy than anything I've ever been to. The best stuff though, was the simple stuff. Noodle soup. The corn dish. I really didn't dig the crab legs. Heck, too much work. But one of the teenagers with us really liked it.
Today, Alison is at the Notary's office. She'll be back soon. She has Nina with her. This will be the last thing we have to do in Nanchang, oh, which by the way is pronounced Nan-Chung. I'm supposed to be taking a nap, but the house cleaning was coming around and I didn't want to be hanging out there then. Besides, this place is air conditioned, and for 10 yuan (but it says it's 1.5 yuan and I was told it was 2 but they took 10, whatever) per hour, I'll pay for that. 10 Yuan is about $1.10. They want a lot more in the hotel, but, if I recall. It's not that much either.
Things Are Cheap Here
And by here, I mean Nanchang, not in the hotel. In the hotel, a canned coke cost 11 yuan, but if I walk across the street to the corner beverage shop that sells only beverages (seems that each store only sells one thing, the wire store, the pump store, the fan store, the tea store) they are 3 yuan for a 16 oz one. I also keep getting Mr. Chang's green tea. I only know that because the URL for it is on the bottle and it's the only English.
Oh, and nobody knows English here
But everyone is super friendly. This internet place is the first place I've been where I may or may not have gotten ripped off. But I don't think I did. Alison was told when she bought a IC card to call home that it had four minutes, for 50 yuan. Mucho crapo prices, but beats the $2 per minute if you use the hotel phone, which Alison did do for 5 minutes one night. However, it seems that it's a 4 yuan (which are actually written RMB but I am just going to say yuan) per minute, so very good prices.
Crap, these Counter Strike guys are kick butt. I pity the fools who are playing against them.
The plan is, I get back to the hotel room before Alison gets back. We'll go to the department store that's about 1/2 mile from our hotel and get some stuff. I need Motrin. Then a relaxing day teaching Nina to walk and feeding her and waiting for her to get tired, which takes forever. She's eating and learning very fast, but is having so much fun that she hates to go to sleep at night, so, we let her stay up until she's exhausted, which is actually only about 7:30.
Tomorrow we leave the hotel for the airport at 2 or 2:30. Nanchang's airport is much smaller than even Huntsville's. We'll get to Guangzhou where we'll be staying at another 5 star hotel. I doubt it will be as nice as the Kowloon Shangri-La we were at in Hong Kong. And it is much more Western oriented than it is here, what wouldn't be really, but I love it here. Though it's odd to have no ability to read and little ability to talk.
Chinese lesson:
Boo Koo = Don't Cry
Mee Shou = Your ok
Holla holla = It's ok, it's ok
A gal was just reading what I'm writing over my shoulder. I think I'll take off soon. Like as in now. I've only been here 30 minutes.
I think I'll go by Pbase and look at the pictures I posted for family before I leave though. I didn't have much time to look before when I was using Jeff's computer.
