Fellow Musicians

This chapter is not really a chapter at all, but rather a list of the people I can remember that I have played with at one time or another. So, I'm sure I will leave out a couple of dozen, and if you ever played music with me and want to be listed, e-mail me at David Melton. Just a quick note about the colors, if the name is red, I have had e-mail or phone contact recently. If it is blue, I have played with them in the past year or so. If purple, they are now playing in an other-worldly band… I hope. Here goes…

I know I've forgotten a lot of musicians. I can't remember most of the names of members of Startown Band (formerly Comin' Up Country), nor of the guitarist and drummer from John David Coe's band. I can't remember the names of the members of The Mad Czech's band either. Nor can I remember some last names or first names. Perhaps it will come to me some day.

At any rate, I have the utmost respect for all who pursue this line of both work and enjoyment. It has rewards that can never be expressed.
