Care Packages to U.S. Troops!

This week we celebrate the outpouring of the Holy Spirit-"When the time for Pentecost was fulfilled, they were all in one place together. And suddenly there came from the sky a noise like a strong driving wind, and it filled the entire house in which they were. Then there appeared to them tongues as of fire which parted and came to rest on each of them.
And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in different tongues, as the Spirit enabled them to proclaim!"
One message of today's feast of Pentecost is that God speaks to people in ways they will understand. It is through the gifts of the Holy Spirit, through Scripture, through Eucharist, through loving relationships, God speaks to us. We are all caught up in a life-changing, life-giving message of hope, ready to become free to share the Good News.
One loving relationship where that is so apparent is that of mothers whom we honor today. May God bless all those life-giving mothers who have remained rooted in their faith, stood steadfast through life-changing events and who have spread the message of Christ within their families.

Mother's Day Rose Sale
Volunteers are selling roses to benefit the pro-life work of the Pregnancy Resource Center. By purchasing roses, you can honor your Mother, or someone who has loved you with a mother's love, and help promote LIFE at the same time. For a mother or grandmother who is deceased, you may place your roses in the vase by the Blessed Mother's statue. Thank you for your support of the life-saving work of the Pregnancy Resource Center.
