America works because our primary social covenant is to defend each other's basic rights. This applies
unconditionally and inclusively to everyone except unborn babies thanks to an act of judicial tyranny.
It is otherwise the practical embodiment of the Universal Law to love one's neighbor as one's self.
Bosnia, by contrast, has suffered for centuries from its failure to heed this Law. The current "peace plan"
consists of placing a military lid on the pressure cooker while endorsing a rearrangement of the districts
for determining who will oppress whom. It is not surprising that an administration which has persecuted the
human rights activists who seek to restore the protection of law to prenatal children would pledge American
blood to support such a monstrosity. It is only further proof of their negligible understanding of what
makes a peaceful society tick.
But America too, is suffering for its failure to heed the Universal Law by arbitrarily defining a portion of
humanity out of the community which government exists to protect. The unrelenting message that our lives
have value only when wanted by those more powerful has not been lost on the young or underclass and has
contributed greatly to the alienation and rebellion that feed crime and other social problems.
"Every child a wanted child" has become "every child a conditional child" for many unstable adults, such
that abuse has skyrocketed as children fail to meet parental expectations. The marginalization of men has
bred anger and resentment that has expressed itself in increased violence against women. And girls and
women have been subjected to increased sexual exploitation followed by coercion to use the deadly but
legally available cover-up of abortion.
This list barely begins to scratch the surface. Those who worship the idol of their own reason, who have
given us government of men and not of laws, persist in their faith that the Universal Law can be ignored
while we all pay a heavy price that is evident to anyone willing to see.
