Dance caller and musician
I first discovered
contradance in the early 1980s and that experience changed the direction of my
life forever. While living in
Syracuse, New York I played in several bands and, as caller, traveled
throughout New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Vermont and
Canada. My calling ranges from
traditional to modern - squares, contras and round dances, gender free dances
and community dances.
In 2005 I moved to
Asheville, North Carolina area to be closer to the roots of Appalachian music
and dance as well as the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
