Released in 2002, Bethesda Softworks' new Morrowind game set new standards for an epic, open-ended single-player game. Winner of countless awards, including numerous Game of the Year awards, MorroClick to enlargewind and its two expansion packs provide literally months and even years of gameplay to experience it all.

In Morrowind, you create and play any kind of character you can imagine. The game world is enormous and varied, with active weather systems and varied terrain, from frozen northern territories to sandy southern beaches, barren rocky terrain to swamplands filled with life.

While theClick to enlargere is a main storyline with a well-developed plot full of twists and turns, you may choose instead to set off on your own to explore strange locations and experience the world as you wish throughout the game. You might choose to become a rogue adventurer or thief (earning a bounty on your head in the process), or join the Fighter's Guild, Mages Guild and other guilds, and work your way through the ranks to possibly become the leader of those guilds. Other guilds and political factions and cults exist for you to join or ignore as you wish.

Morrowind features stunning 3D graphics, full wire-frame renderings, open-ended gameplay, and an incredible level of detail and interactivity. You can meet and talk any of literally thousands of characters in the game world, including everything from thieves and criminals to common folk, warriors and demigods. All of these people you meet in Morrowind may have their own agendas and intentions, and you'll often find yourself making ethical choices based on the kind of character you create and the kind of reputation you desire. Vampires can be found lurking in certain ruins, and you can even choose to join one of the vampire clans, becoming largely a target and outcast of the rest of the civilized world. Two expansion packs -- Tribunal and Bloodmoon -- extend the game world still further. In Tribunal, you visit Mournhold, the capital city of Morrowind, to meet two more god-kings of Morrowind, Almalexia and Sotha Sil. You will find yourself in the Clockwork City of Sotha Sil as well as massive, epic-sized dungeons, where strange and deadly creatures await you, including goblins, lich lords, and mysterious Fabricants. Strange and cunning enemies await you in Mournhold, and massive battles can ensue based on the choices you make.

Click to enlargeBloodmoontakes you to the far northern island of Solstheim where you'll experience snow and blizzards, meet many new people, anddeal with new creatures, including frost trolls, spriggans, ice minions, bears andwolves … just to name a few. You'll have a many extensive and exciting quests to follow, and have the opportunity to help build and defend a colony, investigate crimes and battle intruders. Werewolves make their appearance in Solstheim, and you can actually choose to join the werewolves and become one of them -- thereby making you a target and opening up a whole new style of gameplay!
