2000 Steel Gray / Silver RT/10

9200 miles - Hard top, soft top, car cover, black interior. 100% stock...except for the Silver stripes (GTS's had the factory option, but RT's didn't) and Autoform rear wing spoiler. This wing bolts on. The steel gray color has been discontinued. The Conner Avenue Assembly Plant built 197 Steel Gray RT/10's this year. The 2000 and 2001 Vipers are the strongest Vipers to date. I've seen stock 2000 Vipers dyno around 470-490 horsepower. The silver stripes were done to factory specs (based on 96 model....stripes through the license area) and perfectly matched perfect the color and then was clear coated ....ie no ridges on the stripes. The stripes were done by Woodhouse Dodge. The engine was broke into very easy to 1000 miles. I replaced the stock black plastic A/C control knobs to MGW's satin control knobs. They look sharp and match the interior with the other stock satin features (satin door handle, satin trimming around the gauges). Oil changes at 1150 miles, 3000, 5000, and 8000 miles. During the break-in, it only used 1 quart of oil and requires very little now. Zaino'd from birth. A friend at CAAP put a whole team of Quality Control people on it to make sure the tolerances were perfect (thanks! Ace!). My first Viper was a 1998 red RT/10 and I put 19,000 miles on it before I traded it in for the 2000. I learned how to break-in and take care of Vipers. This 2000 Viper is running in great condition...never wrecked and has a perfect VIN. If you're buying a Viper for the first time........absolutely contact the Viper Club bulletin board (click here)and ask questions about Vipers. They are a wealth of information and experience.
