Fan Notes: Chris Robinson's Festival Survival Guide
Don't Get Too High:
Handle your "get high"! If you don't know how to drink and you don't know hoe to
get high, stay away from it! Know your limits, man.
Avoid Bad Acid:
No one wants to OD or freak out. A bad acid trip is the worst. I don't take acid
anymore 'cause the last trip I was on there were tarantulas coming through the
ceiling trying to fucking amputate my limbs! Horrible!
Don't Shoot Anybody:
Tolerance Man! When you're in a situation with a lot of people who love music,
you have something in common. So watch out for one another. Be as straightlaced
or as freaky as you wanna be, but just remember to respect the people around
you, man. No hassles. Especially the people involved in the drug culture; prove
them wrong! Don't shoot anyone! Don't beat anybody!
Be Nice To The Police:
If you see a policeman, man, shake his hand, tell him hello. They go the fucking
shitty gig. They are people too. I meet cops all the time and I say to 'em, "Hey
man, Thanks."
Just Be Cool:
Just more tolerance, man, thats my festival guide. It's community, man.
Glastonbury? Thats a big-ass city right there man! So be cool!

This was the last stop of the "Hooked or Bycrooked" mini tour from July, 1996,
and it was definately a night that will live in "Crowedom" for a long time to
come. - [boa]
