Mountain Biking

Here's a quick summary of what we like to bike:

 

  1. Lincoln Parish Park - Ruston, Louisiana.  10 miles of mostly single track riding.

  2. Homochitto National Forest - Bude, Mississippi.  Two trails:  5 mile and a 12 mile.  Great place to camp/bike.

  3. Forest Hill Park - Forest Hill, Mississippi.  5 mile trail.  Not difficult, but lots of fun.

  4. Tsali - Nantahala, North Carolina.   Very cool.  4 trails and around 10-15 miles each.   Overlooks Fontana Lake and the Smoky Mountains.

  5. Oak Mountain - Pelham, Alabama (south 15 miles of Birmingham).   16 miles.  Check to see what bands are playing at the Oak Mountain Theater before you go.   We caught the Allman Brothers Band 6-15-01 and made a great weekend of biking, camping and dancing.
