The first season of "Jungle Cubs" featured both full length episodes, some of which included songs, and episodes featuring two shorts, for a total of 13 episodes. Kenny Thompkins and Mircea Manta shared executive producer duties, while Sam Graham and Chris Hubbell were the main writers on the show.
The second season featured eight new episodes. The old staff was replaced with one headed by Tedd Anasti and Patsy Cameron-Anasti, with several voice recasts.

To show that he's not afraid of anything, Khan takes a bet that he'll go to the Wasteland and roar from Pinnacle Rock. Song: "Take Your Sweet, Sweet Time."
The cubs have to defend themselves from a pack of "red dogs" who attack anything they run into and lay waste to the jungle.

The Shrew leads the cubs on a hunt for the mysterious thing known as "treasure" amidst the ruins of an aincient kingdom. Song: "When We Find the Treasure".

The Cubs discover that Louie will grow up to be their king someday. Bagheera worries that Louie might not be fit to be king, while Khan wants to be king himself. Song: "Everything's Going to be Right with the World"
