Alright

I've noticed since you've been born
roses have grown a lot of extra thorns
Since you've existed it's come to my attention
the doves and other birds are getting less mention
Since you've been born the peacock is a lot less conceited
as a matter of fact they're getting ignored or a little mistreated
I've observed that the sun shines a bit brighter on this earth
I guess it's your own personal spotlight to show the world what you're worth
The stars have grown dim in your honor to humble themselves
what a Royal Queen this fate of ours have dealt
Do you see the previous beauties our creator made for his delight
they've grown jealous and vindictive of you, Are you alright?
I would ask you did it hurt when you fell from heaven
but even heaven's not as jealous as to drop one of God's precious presents
They're jealous of Mother Nature finally completing perfection
So I ask "Are you alright?" cause everyone's jealous; even your own reflection
I would like to take time to thank everyone that's had a say
in your life, fate, your destiny that's guided your course pass my way
I want to thank the Lord for waking you so I may admire you another day
I want to thank the earth for holding fast under you and not giving way
I want to thank your mother for having her "baby"
I want to thank you for playing a starring role in my life,
for you've been a big part
I want to thank you most for being you and ask
"Will you be the guardian of my heart?"
